On August 20, the third exhibition of "Jingxing" was opened in 798 Sishu gallery. Academic host: Chen Honghan, curator: Su Fenglei, forum host: Zhang Xun; Artists: Zhang Zhigang, Xiang Qiang, Liu Donglu, Xiao Yufang, LAN Chunlei, Zhu Liang, Zhang Lijun. On the same day, academic host Chen Honghan, curator Su Fenglei and participating artists had a discussion on the purification of contemporary art and artists' inner cultivation in art private school. This forum was presided over by Zhang Xun, director of art private school communication organization.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Wang Xiaojian, a famous art critic, made a wonderful speech: "all the artists present the mature thinking and mature experience of the Post-70s with very mature works and their own unique language, and all of them are obviously contemporary. 70 is a mature generation with its own 70 values. 80 is an active generation. They are exploring their own native language in the international status. The uniqueness of 90 has not yet been formed. So 70's mature thinking and constant persistence are very valuable.
Abstract expression has always been mistaken for copying the west, but it has never happened in China. In fact, it is just a matter of time, region and culture. The value of different places is an important value orientation of globalization, just as most artists in Beijing live in different places.

The art market in recent years is quite different from that before 2008. In the past, it was a way of beating drums to pass flowers. Whoever was lucky enough to be bumped into would be lucky. The house, the car, the status and the reputation have all been established, and the price of works has also risen rapidly. Now I hear that artists can't sell a work a year. It's very difficult to make a living if there is no other way to create income. But you are still working hard here. I see fewer and fewer artists like this! In addition, the gallery's life has also been difficult. Before 2008, I came to 798 to see that it was blooming everywhere, but now it is really depressed. In this market situation, I am very happy to see that Sishu gallery can still support such exhibitions.
