The OCAT Xi'an Pavilion will use "Environment" as the theme of the spring exhibition. The exhibition will present the works of eight contemporary artists, and explore the theme of the exhibition through video, painting, photography, and research projects focusing on individual life and group changes.

"Li Xiaofei: Oil , Salt, Sauce and Vinegar-Assembly Line Project will exhibit the "Assembly Line" video project of artist Li Xiaofei , recording the small-scale assembly line of daily necessities produced by the factory , including the production process of salt, coal, copper, silver, cigarettes and chocolate. Exhibits such as "Sofa", "Silver", "A Car of Coal", and "A Pack of Salt" focus on the production process of different industries. The artist juxtaposes these scenes in a non-narrative way, depicting the overall industrial production cycle Picture.

"Deng Dafei: notes of Xi'an - Memorial of ruins" will show the "ruins project" started by artist Deng Dafei in 2014. Artists pay attention to the changes of land environment in the urban-rural fringe, using traditional rubbings, ink, rice paper and other media to create commemorative images and symbolic works, which reproduce the disappearing urban fringe space.

Lu Song: flow will show Lu Song's prints and oil paintings. These paintings often contain natural elements such as trees, swamps, riverbanks and sloping apartments, reflecting the artist's concern for urban green space and his exploration of the expansion of suburban areas.

With the theme of "Shaanxi: an important base for satellite monitoring and recovery in China", the exhibition will display the installation and image collage works of artist Hu Yun. Shaanxi is a record of Hu Yun's grandfather's journey during the modern Chinese revolution; And get historical materials from these dialogues to find the relationship between themselves and history.

Still life: Luo Bin & Ren Yaning's photography plan

This exhibition will show the photography works of two young artists in Xi'an, including Luo Bin's "medicine · object" series and Ren Yaning's "animal" series. Ju Ting: onion

This exhibition will show the oil paintings of young artist Ju Ting, presenting her attempt to create abstract painting and spatial language. Ju Ting often used thick paint when drawing oil paintings. In her early works, she cut the oil painting coating with a paint knife to produce a visual effect similar to relief; In recent works, the surface of oil painting is modified with a paint knife to show different color coatings and create a flowing texture on the surface.
